Vans - Do I need to travel as freight?
With Irish Ferries, all private use vans exceeding 6.0m in length or 2.6m high must be booked as freight. If commercial goods are being carried you must book as freight, regardless of the length. If your van is under 6.0m and under 2.6m high and you are not carrying commercial goods, please visit our passenger website's Irish Ferries page.

Livestock restrictions
Horses are accepted on the Irish Sea routes. Please refer to us for Ireland to France services carrying livestock as different rates will apply if acceptable.
Other
Horseboxes must be referred as different rates will apply. Dublin Swift (fast craft) is restricted to vehicles up to 10m and 10 tonnes.
